On behalf of Wollondilly Shire Council, Mayor Matt Gould has congratulated Olympian Hilary Scott on her qualification to compete in the 2024 Olympic Games.
Equestrian jumper, 36-year-old Hilary Scott, resided at The Oaks from the age of 10. Her love of show-jumping started during her time with The Oaks Pony Club and has grown from there. Hilary is now based in the Netherlands where she competes across Europe and the USA.
Hilary and mother Alice Cameron train an impressive team of horses through the family business, Oaks Sports Horses. Hilary’s mount, Oaks Milky Way is one of the best the mother and daughter team have bred and Hilary and Milky share an unbreakable bond.
Mayor Matt Gould wishes Hilary and Milky all the best as they compete for Australian on the world stage.
“I’m delighted to congratulate Hilary and Milky on selection to the Olympics, they have already made Wollondilly proud,” said Mayor Matt Gould.
