Council host a number of committees and advisory groups to assist with the prevention, preparation, response and recovery for emergencies in the Wollondilly Local Government Area.
The Local Emergency Management Plan is in compliance with the State Emergency & Management Rescue Act 1989 and details prevention, preparation, response and recovery steps for emergencies in Wollondilly.
The Recovery Action Plan was initiated in response to the Green Wattle Creek Bushfire and contains a number of short-term actions which Council will be undertaking to support long-term recovery and build greater resilience towards future disasters.
