The next exciting stage of the Picton Parklands Masterplan will be the installation of a ninja play course. This will bring a further dimension to our already popular and well utilised playspace. 

Designed for teens, youth and young adults, this style of equipment offers an innovative approach to fitness and play, encouraging active lifestyles through an exciting and challenging outdoor obstacle course.

This project is funded by the NSW and Federal governments through the Bushfire Local Economy Recovery Fund and the NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program.

UPDATES

The ninja play at the Picton Botanic Gardens is coming along really well. The equipment is all installed and the soft fall surface is currently being laid. We are hoping to have it completed and ready for the ninjas within the next few weeks (weather permitting).
 
The layer of surfacing in the image below is the impact attenuation layer and is between 50mm and 130mm thick, its made from recycled tyres. The final top layer is where the magic happens and coloured rubber wet pour will finish off this amazing Ninja Warrior play space.

We are excited to let you know that the Ninja warrior circuit at the Picton Botanic Gardens is now ready to use. So unleash your inner ninja and ready, set, go!!! The circuit has been opened in time for the long weekend and the rest of the school holidays.
