Each year Council celebrates Australia Day at the Picton Botanic Gardens with official ceremonies and family friendly activities.

Experience the magic of steam with heritage train rides, vintage steam machinery, live entertainment, carnival rides, a street parade and more.

Established in 1990, Wollondilly is one of the few local Councils still organising and providing a garden competition for the local community. There are lots of categories to enter and prizes to be won!

Local residents, business and community groups are encouraged to showcase their Christmas spirit and enter the annual lights competition.

Enjoy a family day out all about our four-legged friends with live demonstrations, speakers, markets, activities and a visitor from Dr Katrina and the Wonderdogs.
