The Barrallier Park Water Play facility is completed and ready for use when the weather warms up in September or October.  

Here is a sneak peak of the official opening and the water play elements in action.

The Barrallier Park Water Play area has now been landscaped. The facility will be operational in September. Watch this space for a community launch.

• Handrails completed.

Here is an update on the Barrallier Park Water Play project. It's really starting to take shape.

• Roof to building completed
• Shade sail has been installed 
• Concrete paths, stairs and ramp are completed 
• Handrails are currently being fabricated and installed 
• Life floor surface completed
• Filtration system being installed

Blockwork to the Accessible WC, Change Room and Plant Room completed.

Backfilling behind the retaining and reshaping existing ground completed.

Roof to building commenced.

Shade sail posts have been installed.

Preparation of concrete paths, stairs and ramp have commenced. Concrete to be poured week commencing 8/04/2024.

Existing picnic setting has been reinstalled.

The installation of the Barrallier Park Water Play facility is progressing well. Please see the update:

• Concrete Splashpad completed.
• Bases for Water Feature Equipment installed.
• Concrete Lids for Holding tanks completed.
• Concrete floor slab to Plant Room. Accessible WC & Change Room completed.
• Block retaining wall around splashpad completed.
• Concrete slab for the picnic table has been completed.

The splash pad for the Barrallier Park Water Play facility is starting to take shape now. Here is where the project is currently up to:

• Sealing of tanks completed.
• Balance / Backwash tank lids being formed up and ready for concrete pour.
• Sewer rough-in to accessible WC / change room complete.
• Water filtration pipework currently being rough-in.
• Base plates for water feature equipment installed.
• Splashpad slab being prepared for concrete pour

Temporary fencing is now in place at the Barrallier Park Water Play site and work began this week on the project.
