Closes: Apr 4, 2025, 4:00 PM
Council has received a Draft VPA Amendment from Country Garden Wilton East Pty Ltd (Risland) for the Wilton South East Precinct Stage 1 Development at 990 Picton Road, Wilton.
Council originally entered into the Planning Agreement (VPA) with Walker Corporation on 5 August 2019 for 696 residential lots.
The Draft Amendment seeks to:
- Relocate a commentative walk from the southern side of Hornby Street to be incorporated into Wilton Recreation Reserve.
- Amend timing of delivery of Local Park LP1a from the 400th Lot to the 490th Lot.
- Payment of $4.9M (plus indexation) to Council in lieu of the developer undertaking works for the Wilton Recreation Reserve and Hornby Street commentative walk and design of a river walk.
The draft amendment does not change the overall value of the VPA.
