The Resilient Wollondilly Van is a mobile Recovery and Resilience vehicle that will be utilised by Wollondilly Shire Council to provide immediate outreach support to impacted residents and businesses during and immediately after a disaster. The van will be used to establish community recovery points, connect residents with essential services and supports and distribute short-term supplies.
When the van is not being used for Recovery purposes it will be used for resilience building projects including community education and awareness programs, social programs aimed at increasing connectedness and opportunities for residents to connect with services.
You can download our Mobile Recovery & Resilience Van Fact sheet to keep on hand or to help promote to our community.
This project has been funded by the Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Fund administered by Resilience NSW in partnership with the Commonwealth Government.
