The Project
Come along to our Community Opening event on 1 August and see our newest park.
Work has now begun at The Old Menangle School site to rejuvenate the multi-use space to become a destination park for families to visit, stay and play for the day.
The site is located on Station Street, Menangle and will be accessible by train as well as by car so families can come to the scenic and historic village of Menangle and enjoy the facilities.
The site will feature:
- Playground and nature play areas
- Community outdoor kitchen
- BBQ & shelter facilities
- New amenities building
- Renewal and upgrade of the old school building
- New addition building
- Accessible pathways
- New car park area & EV Charging facilities
Funding for the project has been provided by Public Space Legacy Program, Resources for Regions, Mirvac VPA, Building Renewal Funds and Contributions and Camden AGL Community Legacy Program and we are grateful for their generous contribution.
