As population and development in Wollondilly increases, so too does the demand for infrastructure and services. Communities need items such as roads, parks, drainage basins, and community centres.
Council collects contributions from developers to help fund these public infrastructure. These are called 'Development Contributions', and are based on the impact, type, cost and location of the proposal.
The amount payable will be based on the type, cost and location of the development. If a development contribution applies, this will be included as a condition in the development consent.
The Wollondilly Development Contributions Plan 2020 outlines the monetary rates, land and types of development affected, procedures, and other relevant provisions.
Please note that the Local Contributions Rates indicated on the Contributions Plan document are now outdated. Please refer to the current contribution rates.
The interactive map helps visualise spatial information and provides a better understanding of the relationship between anticipated development and the demand for local infrastructure. It shows local infrastructure proposed to be delivered, including the land to be acquired and works to be undertaken.
It allows zooming in and out, panning around, identifying specific features, and generating reports.
