Compost heaps are a great way to reuse lawn clippings and prunings, and when mixed with vegetable scraps and other organics can make a nutrient rich potting mix and mulch that can be used around your garden.
Compost bins are available through Wollondilly Shire Council and can be purchased from the front counter of Councils Administration Building 62-64 Menangle Street Picton. Worm Farms are also available at Council.
Please contact council on (02) 4677 1100 or council@wollondilly.nsw.gov.au for costs.
