Waste Service Options
Wollondilly Shire Council has a variety of waste collection service options available to suit your needs. Below you will find a list of services and costs based on property type.

Missed Your Service? If your bins have not been collected or you have missed your service day please contact the Waste Hotline on 1800 805 305. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm.
Residential properties
Residential properties are provided with a three-bin service consisting of a garbage, recycling and garden organics bin.

RURAL PROPERTIES
Rural properties are provided with a two-bin service consisting of a garbage and recycling bin. A garden organics bin is not available for rural properties.

Private Contractors

If your business produces waste that cannot go into the Council provided bins, you will need to arrange a private contractor to supply your waste service. For information regarding what can and cannot be disposed of in each bin, please head to our Red, Yellow and Green Bins page.

Bin Sizing
Rates Notices
Under section s574(3) of the Local Government Act 1993, ratepayers have 30 days after a rates notice is served to dispute a charge. Ratepayers also have a responsibility to check that their rates are correctly charged. For more information take a look at Council's Reduction, Waiver or Refund of Council fees and Charges Policy.
