Interested in providing a temporary home for a pet in need? The Wollondilly Animal Shelter Foster Program offers a rewarding opportunity to care for animals while they await their forever homes.
We have a variety of fun and loving cats and dogs available for fostering, and we welcome expressions of interest from residents.
Matching animals with foster carers can be a careful process, as some pets have special needs. By submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI), you’ll help us determine a suitable match for you and the animals in our care.
Sometimes animals in a shelter need an extra bit of care, attention and support, so we are looking for animal-minded people who are willing to open up their homes to become foster carers.
Living in a loving foster home helps these animals to strengthen trust with humans, to regain their confidence and to get used to living in a normal home environment, increasing their chances of finding a forever home.
Council is looking for community support with this program. If this is of any interest to you, we are asking as an initial first step in the process for people to complete an Expression of Interest via the submit button below.
Download the Expression of Interest Form below, and send through by clicking the "Submit Form" button.
