The Project
A hardstand is being constructed at 25 Government Road, Bargo to use as an emergency waste drop off area during natural disasters and potentially for other activities such as Chemical CleanOut events.
This opportunity came about when Council was successful in receiving funding from a Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grant for a designated area to use for natural disaster readiness projects.
The hardstand project is unrelated to the transition of Bargo Waste Management Centre.
