What Can I Donate?
Clothing and textiles including bed linen, towels, blankets and quilts can be donated if they are:
- Clean
- Dry
- In good condition
- No rips or tears
Please do not donate items if they are:
- Dirty
- Wet
- Stained
- Ripped or torn
- Missing parts
Just remember - if it's good enough to give to a mate then it's good enough to donate!
Charity Stores & CLothing Retailer Locations
There are a number of charity stores around Wollondilly that will gladly accept your donation. Funds from the sale of your donations go towards supporting homelessness, refugees, mental health, children in need, education and more. Clothing retailers are also jumping on board and offering the free recycling of a range of clothing, textiles and accessories from any brand.

Accepts any kind of clothing or textiles by any brand and in any condition for recycling at their stores. The items are then either shredded and recycled, reused for other products or sold as second hand clothing. |
Accepts any kind of clothing, household linen, footwear, accessories and jewellery by any brand and in any condition for recycling at their stores. The items are then either recycled into new fabrics or turned into materials for the construction and automotive sectors. |
Accepts clean quilt covers, sheets and towels by any brand for recycling at their stores. The items are then either made into recycled yarn that is re-purposed into new products or have the fibres made into insulation. |
Australian textile recovery and waste recycling company Upparel, have partnered with clothing brand Macpac, to offer a $25 store credit for people who book in a clothing collection from their home. Accepts clothing, linen and shoes for recycling via the home collection service. |
