  A range of free activities will be available for Wollondilly’s young people this coming school holidays as part of Youth Week celebrations.

  The Library will re-open the View Room from Tuesday 6 October, and are offering study desks for quiet and individual study spaces.

• Warragamba Pool to open for long weekend

  Warragamba Pool is opening for the season on Saturday 3 October, giving locals a chance to make the most of the warm weather predicted for the long weekend.
  
  Council will be managing the pool for the foreseeable future and will open the facility from 9am-3pm each day for the rest of the school holidays.

  Wollondilly Council will consider the concept design for an exciting new performance space in Picton, part of the Wollondilly Community Cultural and Civic Precinct, at its next Council meeting.

• Book Week 2020 – Curious Creatures, Wild Minds

  As part of Children’s Book Week 2020, Wollondilly Library will celebrate with a ‘Create your own Curious Creature’ competition.
  
  The competition will run from 17 October to 23 October with winners being notified on 27 October. Participants can draw, paint or build a model of a curious creature and send a picture to the Library to be in the chance to win a Book Week shortlisted prize pack.

  Wollondilly Council’s Waste Management Strategy & Action Plan was adopted on 16 March 2021. The Strategy focuses on economically and environmentally sustainable waste management, addressing key areas including:

  The winners of Wollondilly Shire Council’s annual Spring Garden Competition were announced last night during a presentation at the Bargo Community Hall.
