Buskers wanted to perform at Illuminate Wollondilly!
Posted on: 06.05.2022
With less than two weeks to go, Wollondilly is buzzing with anticipation for the Illuminate Festival of Art & Light in Picton on Saturday 21 May.
Council is calling for expressions of interest from potential buskers and street performers to be a part of this vibrant festival.
Wollondilly Mayor, Matt Gould said, “We are looking for acts such as acoustic guitar, vocals, drama, dance or mime.”
“We really want the streets to come alive for this year’s festival, complementing the building projections, art exhibition and food stalls.”
Council is committed to enhancing the profile of the Arts and Cultural sector in Wollondilly and providing opportunities like Illuminate, where the arts can be showcased. Now in its sixth year, the reinvigorated festival will be bigger and brighter than ever.
Positions for performers are limited, so interested buskers should visit the Council website to complete a registration form.
