Council will accept weekly, fortnightly and monthly payments but if the quarterly instalments are not paid by their due date interest charges will apply on the overdue amount.

It is your responsibility to regularly review deductions to ensure that the instalments are paid by the due date.

Payments will be deducted on FRIDAYS commencing from the FRIDAY on or after the specified start date.

Monthly direct debits are processed on the first and third FRIDAY of each month.

Quarterly direct debits will be deducted on 31st August, 30th November, 28th February and 31st May of each year (or the following business day if on a weekend or public holiday).

Annual direct debits will be deducted on 31st August of each year (or the following business day if on a weekend or public holiday). Please note that your entire annual rate levy will be deducted on this day.

Notice of annual and quarterly amounts will be provided on Rates and Charges or Instalment Notices at least one month prior to the due dates.
