All land in Wollondilly is subject to the controls set out in the Wollondilly Local Environmental Plan (LEP). It includes a written document and accompanying maps.
The Wollondilly LEP sets out things like; the land use zone, what type of land uses are permissible, whether land can be subdivided, identifies and protects heritage conservation areas and listed buildings/items, identifies environmentally sensitive land.
Wollondilly Shire Council is committed to developing tourism and establishing Wollondilly as a visitor destination while also supporting local businesses and communities in their recovery from the impacts of drought, Black Summer Fires, recent flood events and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Recent changes to the Wollondilly Local Environmental Plan 2011, will make it easier to celebrate in Wollondilly, particularly for destination weddings, overnight stays, events and markets.
