Wollondilly Shire Council has reappointed Ben Taylor as CEO for a further five years from July 2022.
Mayor Matt Gould said that Mr Taylor had shown exemplary leadership during a challenging period and has the full support of the elected Council to lead the organisation for the years ahead.

Wollondilly Council has committed to continuing to provide of a community transport service for its growing and changing community, directly funding third-party providers so community groups can use the service.

Wollondilly Council has expanded its fleet of community outreach vehicles with the addition of a customised, state-of-the-art mobile recovery and resilience vehicle, to be officially launched this week.

Aiming to retain a sense of the past for future generations, Wollondilly Shire Council is inviting feedback on proposed updates to the local heritage list in the Wollondilly Local Environment Plan 2011 (LEP).
Over the past three years, community members have helped contribute to a Shire Wide Heritage Study to update existing heritage items and identify potential places and items for heritage listing.
