Local Government Week aims to help move the conversation beyond roads, rates and rubbish, to the important and far-reaching role Councils play and the wide range of services provided to communities.

The Parks and Recreation team at council deliver strategic and operational programs covering a range of assets including, parks, open space, sportsfields, trees, streetscapes, swimming pools and recreation facilities, cemeteries, public amenities and community halls.

We provide support to Wollondilly businesses connecting them to workshops, events, services, grants and other promotional opportunities to help them thrive.

Wollondilly Library has delivered 200 programs to 3,998 people between January and June in 2023. We love to see our community read, learn, study and play in our space.
There are over 40,000 items in the Library’s physical collection, plus thousands of books, audiobooks, magazines, comics, movies and more in the digital collection, all accessible with your Library card!

Wollondilly Children’s Services have been operating for over 30 years.
Our services provide strong support for the families of Wollondilly - from our Preschool and Year Round Care services located in the heart of Picton, to our Family Day Care services scattered throughout the Shire.
We employ an array of local educators to develop and deliver stimulating, high quality educational programs that cater for the needs of children up to the age of 12, in inclusive licenced environments.
