Interim Heritage Order No. 1 - 15 Mulhollands Road, Picton

Under section 25 of the Heritage Act 1977, Wollondilly Shire Council has made an Interim Heritage Order (IHO) on land at 15 Mulhollands Road (LOT 7 DP244398), PICTON to temporarily protect Aboriginal relics.

An IHO is a safeguard to provide protection where a property is not listed as a heritage item (as in this case). It provides a 6-month period where the relics cannot be harmed, while an in-depth heritage assessment is carried out by Council to determine if it should be listed as a heritage item.

This IHO was published in the Government Gazette on 30 August 2024 and is in force for a period of 6-months, expiring 2 March 2025.
