Council will be hosting the Together Arts Exhibition again this year on Thursday 30 May until Saturday 1 June 2024 at the Wollondilly Shire Hall as part of Reconciliation Week.
The Together Arts Exhibition provides a valuable learning opportunity for local schools and child care services to celebrate unity and reconciliation with the local Aboriginal community, and to create visual arts in different mediums that portray Reconciliation.
The 2024 Together Arts Theme “Now More Than Ever” is a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will —and must —continue.
We invite you to come on down to our Opening Day on Thursday 30 May between 8:30am – 2:00pm and check out some of the amazing artwork from students at our local schools and child care services within any of these 3 days.
