Join us on Sunday, 28 July 2024, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Stonequarry Creek, Hume Oval, Downing St, Picton, for National Tree Day. This year, we’re focusing on planting native species to enhance flood mitigation, improve water quality, and bolster the health of our waterways. Your efforts will also support local biodiversity, provide essential habitats for native wildlife, and help stabilise the banks of Stonequarry Creek.
Everyone is welcome to contribute to the well-being of our creeks and enhance the beauty of Wollondilly. Assist our dedicated Bushcare volunteers in making a tangible difference in our community. We provide all necessary tools, plants, and guidance, ensuring a rewarding and fun morning for families and individuals alike.
Look for the Bushcare signs along the banks of Stonequarry Creek near Hume Oval to find us. Join us in making a positive impact on our local environment!
