  On 8 July 2024 the Picton Botanic Gardens playspace and amenities were officially opened by Mayor Matt Gould and Local Member for Hume Angus Taylor MP.   Wollondilly residents can now walk or cycle between the towns of Picton and Tahmoor, with the completion of the new Picton to Tahmoor shareway.

  The Commonwealth Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts has begun consultation on two flight path proposals for the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport. • Expression of Interest – Tree Barrels in Memorial Park, Picton

  Wollondilly Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest for the collection of tree barrels from the declining Eucalyptus deanei that will be removed from Memorial Park in Picton.

  Council Owned Land Wollondilly Shire Council looks after watercourses including creeks, overflow paths and drainage pipes on Council owned land. We have a maintenance program in place to make sure suitable repairs are made.
