A natural disaster has been declared for the Wollondilly LGA in the wake of the recent flooding event of 5 April 2024.
Council is working with the NSW Reconstruction Authority to make sure support is in place for our impacted businesses and community members, including assistance funding.
For businesses who were impacted, we will be providing updates over the next week to let you know what support will be available. Now is the time to take stock of any damage and contact your insurance company. Please check your email inbox for a survey distributed today from Council to gather more details of support needed (8 April 2024).
Individuals who have been impacted should call Council on 4677 1100 or email recovery@wollondilly.com.au to let us know what assistance can be provided.
Any damage to roads and Council facilities can be reported through Council’s Customer Portal https://portal.wollondilly.nsw.gov.au/s/ so we can make repairs as soon as possible.
