Wollondilly Animal Shelter takes care of lost and surrendered animals and rehabilitates them ready to be rehomed. The Shelter is also a place where people can seek advice on their pet.
The Shelter is located on Wonga Road, Picton. Public entry is via the Resource Centre in between the Shelter and Council Nursery.
For viewing, collection and droping off of animals: Opening Hours are Monday to Friday by appointment only (02) 4677 1100.
NOTE: All payments must be made by Eftpos / Credit Card only.
Looking to adopt a pet, or find your lost pet? Wollondilly Animal Shelter has many loving cats and dogs looking for their forever home!
If you live locally and have lost your pet, you can see if it's been found and dropped off to the Animal Shelter via our online listings which include a photo and any details available about the animal.
Residents are able to surrender their pet dogs and cats to council for a fee. However please note there are times when the Council Shelter is at capacity. For more information contact the Shelter via (02) 4677 1100.
Our Wollondilly Animal Shelter aren't currently taking volunteers however there are plenty of opportunities to support our four legged friends such as the RSPCA.
