Bushcare volunteers play a vital role in restoring and protecting our local natural areas.
All activities are guided by Council’s experienced Environmental Officers, who provide hands-on training, tools, and expert advice. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned green thumb, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to make a real impact.

By joining a Bushcare group, you’ll be helping to:
- 🌱 Remove invasive weeds and encouraging native plant regeneration
- 🌼 Planting and caring for native species
- 🐞 Improving habitats for local wildlife
- 🧹 Removing rubbish and disposing of it responsibly
- 💧 Restoring creeks and riparian zones to support healthy waterways
- 🌾 Collecting seeds and cuttings for propagation at the Robin Davies Wollondilly Community Nursery
- 🚶 Maintaining walking tracks and natural areas for community enjoyment
- 📚 Learning about local ecosystems and sustainable land care practices.
