Council’s ‘designated persons’ (under 4.8 of Council’s Code of Conduct) must make disclosures about their pecuniary interests at least annually via a Disclosure of Interests Return.
These returns are considered ‘open access information’ under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) and must be made publicly available on Council’s website unless there is an overriding public interest against disclosure.
Information on this decision can be found in the notice of Written Returns of Interest Determination. Individuals may also request other personal information be withheld under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (PPIP Act). Council's Administrative Protocol on Written Returns of Interest and Designated Persons can be viewed on our Policy Register.
Redacted versions of the written returns are available using the links above. To apply to access un-redacted Written Returns, visit Council's Accessing Council Information Page.
