Discover how recycling and waste are managed in your community with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Veolia’s Material Recovery Facility (MRF) at Spring Farm.
This unique experience is designed for Wollondilly residents eager to learn about the recycling process and how we can reduce contamination in our waste streams.

Join us for a 45-minute guided tour, where you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at Veolia’s recycling and waste management processes.
During the tour, you'll have the chance to:
If time allows, the tour will also include a drive around the facility to explore areas such as the Public Drop Off, bales of recycled products, and the general waste section.
Each session is limited to 10 residents to ensure a quality experience for all attendees. Please note that this tour is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Attendees must be able to climb stairs and should be comfortable standing and walking for up to 45 minutes.
For safety reasons, all participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes.
We are currently looking into arranging a community mini bus for transport. Should this not be available, attendees may need to drive directly to the site. Final transport details will be provided once your booking is confirmed.
