Community organisations across the Shire are now able to benefit from an increased range of financial assistance through Wollondilly Shire Council, following the adoption of the revised Financial Assistance Framework.
After a review of how its financial assistance is provided to our community, Council has tailored four (4) new funding programs within the Framework to recognise community needs and priorities. These needs were expressed through community consultation in the development of Council’s Community Strategic Plan 2033.
Community organisations are able to apply for support from Council for a range of community events, programs, activities and awards, small items of equipment and for minor works to local community facilities.
For the first time individuals will be able to seek financial assistance through the Donations Program to support them in pursuit of their sporting, culture or academic involvement at State or National level.
