Draft Planning Proposal – Barkers Lodge Road (Tourist Facilities & Residential)

Council invites your comments on a Planning Proposal to amend Wollondilly Local Environmental Plan (WLEP) 2011, which is principal legislation that controls development and planning decisions for the Wollondilly Shire local government area. The property to be rezoned is located at 350 Barkers Lodge Road, Picton (Lot 1 DP 1006937).
The proposed amendment is to rezone land to allow the development of tourist facilities and housing for around 20-30 dwellings on large allotments (4,000 sqm).
Where can I view the documents?
The draft amendments will be on exhibition from Wednesday 1 May 2017 until Friday 2 June 2017.
The draft amendments can be viewed online or downloaded. Hard copies can be viewed at:
Council’s Customer Service Centre at 62 Menangle Street, Picton between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday;
Wollondilly Library, 42 Menangle Street, Picton between 9:30am and 5pm Mon to Wednesday and Friday, 9:30am and 6pm Thursday and 9am and 12pm Saturday.
