Changed traffic conditions - Hume Motorway from Goulburn to Douglas Park

Council has been advised of changed traffic conditions on the Hume Highway from Goulburn to Berrima and the Hume Motorway from Berrima to Douglas Park for vegetation maintenance work.
Work will include the removal of dead and decaying trees along sections of the road corridor to improve safety and usability for road users.
Work will be carried out at night on the Hume Motorway from Berrima to Douglas Park between 8pm and 5am, Sunday to Thursday, from Sunday 19 May for six weeks, weather permitting.
Work will be carried out during the day on the Hume Highway from Goulburn to Berrima between 7am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, from Monday 20 May for six weeks, weather permitting.
Single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place during work for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists should allow up to five minutes additional travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Temporary Closure - Bargo Waste Management Centre

Bargo Waste Management Centre will be temporarily CLOSED from Saturday, 27th April to Friday, 24th May while we make changes to the layout of the site. The site will re-open on Saturday, 25th May.
The next closest waste management centre is REMONDIS Resource Recovery Facility - 67 Wonga Road, Picton - Ph: 13 73 73
Alternatively, there are other waste facilities that residents can access outside the Shire including at Spring Farm, Bowral and Penrith.
Problem wastes such as gas bottles, paint, motor oil and batteries can be disposed of at your local Community Recycling Centre for free.
